AirSignal

Before heading out, see pollen, air quality, UV and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) for your location in Turkey in one place. Get an alert when a threshold is exceeded, and a heads-up on evenings when fog or drizzle is expected. Informational only; not medical advice.

Who it is for

Purpose and access context

Why AirSignal

What a weather app leaves out, in one place.

Everything in one view

Pollen, air quality, PM2.5, NO₂ and UV usually live in different apps, or are missing altogether. AirSignal brings them together for your location, with one daily score on top.

Measured where possible

When a measuring station is close by, temperature and humidity come from that measurement instead of a model. When a value is missing, AirSignal says "No reading" instead of guessing.

Set up for you

Pick the plants that matter to you and how sensitive you are, switch each alert on or off and set quiet hours. You hear from AirSignal when something crosses your line, not all day.

What you see

Every value in the app, and what it gives you.

AirSignal score

What it is
A daily 0-100 environmental score built from air quality, pollen, UV, humidity and wind, with "Today's priority" naming the factor that leads today.
What you get
The day's picture at a glance, without checking five separate readings.

Pollen

What it is
Today's pollen in six levels, from None to Very High, plus the active plants (olive, grass, birch, alder, ragweed, mugwort) with a score for each and their usual season.
What you get
You see which plant is high today, and the plants in your profile shape your personal score.

Air quality

What it is
The overall air quality index for your location, shown with its level and colour.
What you get
Pick the cleaner part of the day for a walk, a run or time outdoors.

PM2.5

What it is
Fine particles in µg/m³, the actual number behind the air quality index.
What you get
You see the concentration itself, not only a label, and can get an alert when it is high.

Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂)

What it is
Traffic and fuel gas in µg/m³, rated on the European Air Quality Index bands, from Good to Extremely Poor.
What you get
You know when traffic air is high around you; a notification comes above 100 µg/m³ and you can switch it off.

UV

What it is
The UV index for your location with its level.
What you get
You know when the sun is strongest and can get a UV alert on high days.

Temperature and humidity

What it is
Current temperature and humidity, taken from a nearby measuring station when there is one within 25 km.
What you get
A real measurement for your area, not only a forecast model.

Wind

What it is
How strongly the wind carries pollen today: Low, Moderate or High.
What you get
Completes the pollen picture: on a high-transport day pollen travels further from where it grows.

Fog and drizzle

What it is
A signal when the evening is expected to cool into fog or drizzle, with the expected time and the values behind it.
What you get
A heads-up before you go out in the evening, at most once per night.

Alerts

What it is
Separate rules for pollen, UV, air quality, PM2.5 and NO₂, a sensitivity level, quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00 and a morning summary.
What you get
You decide what reaches you and when; non-critical alerts stay quiet at night.

Home screen widget

What it is
The daily score, today's priority and pollen on your home screen, refreshed in the background about once an hour.
What you get
The answer is on your home screen; you do not need to open the app.

Map

What it is
Model-based risk layers around you: air, pollen, UV and comfort.
What you get
See which nearby area looks better before you choose where to go.

Reports

What it is
Your saved daily readings for up to 45 days: trend, worst day, highest and lowest values, and a CSV copy.
What you get
Look back at how recent days went and keep your own record.
