Overview

AetherVortex Player is designed as a lightweight local/offline music player. The app is built around playing audio files on the user's device rather than creating accounts, advertising profiles, or cloud libraries.

Data collection

AetherVortex does not intentionally collect, sell, rent, or share personal data through AetherVortex Player.

The app does not require a user account and does not use advertising SDKs.

Local files and device access

The app may request access to audio or media files so it can find and play music stored on the device. File information used for playback is processed locally on the device.

Audio files, playlists, playback state, and similar local app data are not uploaded to AetherVortex servers by the app.

Third-party services

If the app is installed through Google Play, Google may process install, diagnostics, crash, device, and store interaction data under Google's own policies and systems. AetherVortex does not control Google's processing.

Lyrics can be added offline. If you choose to search for lyrics online, the app sends only the track title and artist name to the public LRCLIB service (lrclib.net) over HTTPS to find matching lyrics. This happens only when you start a search. Audio files, device identifiers and account data are not sent, and AetherVortex does not receive or store this information. LRCLIB handles the request under its own terms.

Children

AetherVortex Player is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data deletion

Because the app does not create an AetherVortex account or cloud music library, local app data can generally be removed by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app from the device.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app changes. Material changes will be reflected on this public policy URL.
