AetherVortex - DEQ Control
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026 · Owner: AetherVortex OÜ
In short: the app collects no personal data, has no account, and does not connect to the internet.
What the app does with data
- It talks to your Behringer DEQ2496 over MIDI. The settings it reads from the device stay on your PC.
- Presets and device snapshots you save are stored on your PC only, in your local application data folder. You can delete them at any time.
- The phone remote works over your own local network. Your phone and your PC exchange equalizer settings directly; nothing leaves your network, and no server is involved.
- The app does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising or any online service.
Microsoft Store
Installation and update statistics are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. The app itself does not add anything to them.
Your choices
Uninstalling the app removes it from Windows. Saved presets and snapshots remain in your local application data folder until you delete them.
